Field Facilitator – Agriculture, Vermicomposting & Homestead Gardening

About the role

The Field Facilitator will support agricultural, vermicomposting and homestead gardening activities within humanitarian crisis response programmes in Hatiya. This role involves working closely with community members, project staff and partners to improve food security and sustainable livelihoods.

Key responsibilities

• Facilitate and supervise agricultural production, vermicomposting and homestead gardening projects on the field.
• Provide technical guidance and training to beneficiaries on best practices.
• Monitor progress, collect data and prepare regular reports for programme managers.
• Coordinate with local authorities, NGOs and other stakeholders to ensure smooth implementation.
• Identify challenges and propose practical solutions to enhance project outcomes.

Required profile

• Diploma in Agriculture.
• Minimum of 3 years relevant experience in agricultural or related humanitarian projects.
• Knowledge of vermicomposting and homestead gardening techniques.
• Ability to work in a field office environment and travel to project sites.
