Finance Manager - Partnership

About the role

The International Rescue Committee (IRC) is seeking a Finance Manager – Partnership to oversee and strengthen the financial management of its sub‑awardees in Bangladesh. This role will support IRC programmes by ensuring sound financial oversight, capacity building, and compliance with donor requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Provide day‑to‑day financial management and oversight of sub‑awardee finance functions.
• Review sub‑awardee budgets during proposal development and participate in pre‑award due‑diligence.
• Document and monitor all financial matters related to sub‑awardee fund requests and reporting.
• Prepare, review, and validate sub‑awardee financial reports and budgets.
• Deliver training and guidance to sub‑awardees to enhance their financial and administrative capacity.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional IRC teams and partners to ensure alignment with programme objectives.

Required profile

• Proven experience in financial management within humanitarian or non‑profit settings.
• Strong understanding of sub‑award financing, budgeting, and reporting processes.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Effective communication skills for capacity‑building and stakeholder engagement.
• Ability to work independently and coordinate with multiple teams.
