Global Technical Lead

About the role

Levi Strauss & Co is seeking a Global Technical Lead to turn design concepts into prototypes and bulk production for women’s apparel. The role ensures fit, style, quality and measurement consistency across the product development cycle, partnering with vendors, design, and technical teams.

Key responsibilities

• Execute design concepts from prototype through bulk production while maintaining fit, quality, construction, and measurement consistency.
• Develop, modify, and evaluate patterns using manual and computer‑aided tools, including grading and flat sketching.
• Create and maintain Tech Packs, measurement specifications, and related technical documentation.
• Conduct fit sessions with live models, diagnose issues, and implement pattern or specification updates.
• Partner with vendors and internal teams to communicate fit, construction, and quality requirements and oversee execution in sample rooms and bulk production.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
• Minimum 7 years of experience executing design concepts into prototypes and bulk production for women’s apparel.
• Proven expertise in women’s fit development for both denim and non‑denim woven garments.
• Strong technical communication skills and ability to manage multiple priorities against product calendars.

Required skills

• Manual and computer‑aided pattern‑making, grading, and flat sketching.
• Proficiency with PLM systems, Excel, and Gerber Fit development.
• Experience with Adobe Illustrator and creating Tech Packs and measurement specifications.
• Familiarity with 3D design tools such as CLO (preferred).
