About the role
The Barishal Government Technical School and College is hiring a temporary Job Placement Officer under the ASSET (Accelerating and Strengthening Skills for Economic Transformation) project. The position is on a daily‑attendance basis and supports the Institutional Development Grant activities.
Key responsibilities
- Directly manage and facilitate job placement activities for project beneficiaries.
- Coordinate with industry partners to identify employment opportunities.
- Maintain records of placement outcomes and report progress to project supervisors.
- Provide guidance to candidates on resume preparation and interview readiness.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree from a recognized college or university.
- Minimum five (5) years of experience in an industrial setting or real‑world work environment.
- Proven experience in job placement or career services is highly preferred.
- Strong computer literacy.
