Junior Engineer – Railway Data Collection

About the role

Join SJ Group’s multidisciplinary team in Dhaka to support railway infrastructure projects. As a Junior Engineer you will collect field and secondary data, verify information, and help prepare technical reports that guide design and implementation.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct field‑level data collection at Bangladesh Railway sites, stations, depots, workshops and related locations.
• Gather secondary data and official information from Bangladesh Railway offices and relevant departments.
• Organise, verify and compile railway‑related data for study, design, planning and project implementation.
• Assist in drafting technical reports, data summaries, tables and supporting documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering discipline or equivalent.
• Approximately 10 years of professional experience in the railway field.
• Strong technical understanding of project delivery aspects.
• Effective communication skills.
