Knitting Factory Manager

About the role

A globally recognized textile and apparel manufacturer with a Bangladesh facility is looking for an experienced Knitting Factory Manager to lead a high-volume circular knitting operation producing synthetic performance fabrics. The role is hands-on and focuses on stabilizing production, improving machine efficiency and coordinating knitting, dyeing and finishing. The client is represented by N Human Resources & Management Systems.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end operations of the circular knitting facility
• Manage production planning, machine utilization and output optimization
• Drive improvements in productivity, efficiency and cost performance
• Ensure fabrics meet international quality and performance standards
• Coordinate with dyeing and finishing teams for a smooth production flow
• Support technical teams in developing new fabric constructions and innovations
• Lead and mentor production managers, supervisors, engineers and technicians
• Build technical capability within the workforce and enforce safety, quality and operational discipline

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Textile Engineering or a related discipline
• 15+ years of experience in textile manufacturing
• Proven track record of managing large-scale production teams
• Demonstrated success in improving factory efficiency and operational performance
• Preferred: experience in export-oriented textile operations in Bangladesh and exposure to international apparel brands
