About the role

The Loan and Savings Officer (LSO) will support Manabik Shahajya Sangstha’s financial services by managing loan applications, overseeing savings accounts, and ensuring accurate record‑keeping. The position is full‑time, office‑based, and reports to the senior finance team. The role contributes to the organization’s mission of providing accessible financial products to the community.

Key responsibilities

• Process loan applications, conduct eligibility checks, and prepare necessary documentation.
• Manage savings account operations, including account opening, deposits, withdrawals, and interest calculations.
• Maintain up‑to‑date customer records and financial databases.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
• Assist customers with inquiries related to loans and savings products.
• Prepare periodic reports on loan portfolio performance.
• Coordinate with credit assessment and risk teams for loan approvals.
• Participate in internal and external financial audits.

Required profile

• At least 2 years of relevant experience in banking or financial services.
• Any bachelor’s or master’s degree (or equivalent) is acceptable.
