Manager - Pilot/Sample

About the role

The Manager – Pilot/Sample will lead the development and execution of pilot and sample projects for bag production. Working from an office environment, the role ensures that prototypes meet design specifications, quality standards, and production feasibility. The manager will act as the central point of contact between design, engineering, and manufacturing teams.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee pilot and sample production processes for bags, ensuring alignment with design and cost targets.
• Coordinate closely with sewing, cutting, materials, and accessories teams to guarantee timely execution.
• Monitor quality, compliance, and consistency of bag construction throughout the pilot phase.
• Maintain detailed documentation and reporting of sample outcomes and performance metrics.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to implement improvements in production processes.

Required profile

• 8 to 12 years of experience in bag manufacturing or a closely related field.
• Strong practical knowledge of bag construction, sewing, cutting, materials, accessories, and production processes.
