Market Development Officer

About the role

The Market Development Officer will support Taiwan Machinery’s efforts to expand its market presence in the Mirpur area. Working from the office, the officer will assist in identifying new business opportunities, conducting market research, and contributing to the development of strategies that drive sales growth. The role reports to senior management and collaborates closely with sales, marketing and product teams.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct primary and secondary market research to gather intelligence on customer needs and industry trends.
• Identify and qualify potential customers, distributors and partners in the target region.
• Support the preparation of sales proposals, presentations and promotional materials.
• Monitor competitor activities and provide insights to inform strategic decisions.
• Work with internal teams to align product offerings with market requirements and feedback.

Required profile

• 1 to 5 years of experience in market development, sales, or a related field.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Motivation to achieve targets and contribute to business growth.
• Ability to work effectively in an office environment.
