About the role

Sun Gas Limited is seeking an experienced Plant Manager to lead its manufacturing operations in Mongla. The role involves overseeing plant performance, ensuring safety, and driving continuous improvement across all production activities.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day operations of the plant, including production planning, scheduling and resource allocation.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental regulations.
• Lead a multidisciplinary team, fostering a culture of quality and efficiency.
• Monitor key performance indicators and implement corrective actions to meet targets.
• Develop and control the plant budget, optimizing costs while maintaining product standards.
• Coordinate maintenance activities to minimize downtime.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (BEngg) required.
• MBA or relevant postgraduate qualification is an added advantage.
• 8–12 years of experience in plant or industrial operations management.
• Proven track record of leading large‑scale manufacturing facilities.
