Procurement and Logistics Associate (UN Common Premises)

About the role

The Procurement and Logistics Associate will support the International Organization for Migration (IOM) in managing the UN Common Premises (UN CP) in Dhaka. Working under the Supply Chain Officer and the IOM Resource Management Officer, the incumbent will ensure smooth operation of shared facilities and services for multiple UN agencies.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in the day‑to‑day management of the UN CP, including coordination with the Building Management Committee and other UN agencies.
• Support procurement processes, inventory control, and logistics activities required for the common premises.
• Facilitate the delivery of services and resources across the UN CP to ensure consistent and transparent operations.
• Maintain records, prepare reports, and contribute to the development of standard operating procedures for the shared facilities.
• Collaborate with IOM and partner agencies to address operational issues and improve service quality.

Required profile

• Experience in procurement, logistics or supply‑chain functions, preferably in an international or UN environment.
• Ability to work collaboratively with multiple UN agencies and adapt to a multi‑stakeholder setting.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in managing shared resources.
