Project Coordinator

About the role

The Project Coordinator will support Uttaran’s initiatives in disaster management and environmental projects based in Dacope. This contract position requires a strong academic background and extensive experience to ensure project objectives are met on time and within budget.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, monitor and report on project activities, timelines and deliverables.
• Coordinate with stakeholders, partners and field teams to align resources and tasks.
• Prepare project documentation, progress reports and compliance records.
• Identify risks and propose mitigation measures related to environmental and disaster‑management components.
• Facilitate meetings, workshops and community outreach as needed.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Sociology, Disaster Management, Environmental Science or a related field from a reputable university.
• Minimum seven (7) years of experience in project coordination or management, preferably in the environmental or humanitarian sector.
• Demonstrated ability to work in an office environment and manage multiple tasks.
