Quality Control Officer – Mustard Oil

About the role

The Quality Control Officer will ensure that raw materials, in‑process batches, and finished mustard oil consistently meet Akij Resources' quality standards, food safety regulations, and relevant industry certifications.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine and ad‑hoc testing of mustard oil at all production stages.
• Inspect raw material deliveries and in‑process samples for compliance with BDS, FSMS and ISO 22000:2018 standards.
• Document test results, maintain accurate records, and generate quality reports.
• Identify non‑conformities, initiate corrective actions, and support internal and external audits.
• Collaborate with production and R&D teams to improve process controls.

Required profile

• Bachelor of Science in Food & Nutrition, Food Science & Technology, or related field.
• Master of Engineering in Food & Nutrition is also acceptable.
• 2 to 5 years of experience in food quality control or a similar role.
