Software Test Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Software Test Engineer to join our fast‑growing Australian technology company as it expands its operations in Bangladesh. The role will be based in our Dhaka office and will focus on delivering high‑quality software solutions for global clients.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and execute manual and automated test cases based on functional specifications.
• Identify, document and track defects using the appropriate tracking tools.
• Collaborate closely with developers, product owners and QA leads to ensure test coverage and timely resolution of issues.
• Maintain test documentation, including test plans, test scripts and test reports.
• Participate in continuous improvement of testing processes and methodologies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in software testing.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
