About the role
The Earth is looking for a Technical Specialist to join its LifeTree Bangladesh – Sundarbans initiative. The role is based in an office in Bagerhat, Khulna, Bangladesh and is offered on a contract basis. The specialist will work within the project team to apply technical knowledge in forestry, agroforestry, agriculture or environmental science.
Key responsibilities
- Apply technical expertise to support the Sundarbans project activities.
- Collaborate with project staff to ensure technical standards are met.
- Assist in data collection, analysis and reporting related to forestry and environmental outcomes.
Required profile
- Bachelor's degree in Forestry, Agroforestry, Agriculture, Environmental Science or a closely related discipline.
- Master's degree in a relevant field is an added advantage.
- 3 to 5 years of relevant experience.
