Project Coordinator – Humanitarian Programs

About the role

World Vision is seeking a Project Coordinator to lead and supervise humanitarian projects in Cox's Bazar, Bangladesh. Reporting to the FSLR Sector Manager, the coordinator will ensure project activities are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards, contributing to the organization’s mission of supporting vulnerable children.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full project lifecycle, from design and proposal writing to implementation and reporting.
• Monitor project budgets, timelines, and contractual obligations to ensure compliance.
• Identify humanitarian needs through situational monitoring and context analysis.
• Build capacity of staff through mentoring, training, and performance support.
• Design and assess project interventions, providing technical guidance and strategic direction.
• Maintain quality standards in project delivery and encourage collaboration with youth entrepreneurs, market actors, and other stakeholders.
• Liaise with World Vision Foundation, local partners, and other sectors of World Vision Bangladesh to ensure integrated program delivery.

Required profile

• Local applicant with the ability to work under the supervision of the FSLR Sector Manager.
• Experience in coordinating humanitarian or development projects in challenging environments.
• Strong analytical and reporting skills, with a focus on results and impact.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑engagement abilities.
• Capacity to mentor and develop project staff.
