Head, Retail Media and Partnerships

About the role

Foodpanda, part of the Delivery Hero Group, is looking for a commercially driven Head, Retail Media & Partnerships to grow and lead its team in Bangladesh. This is an entrepreneurial role at the intersection of sales, partnerships, advertising and performance marketing, with full responsibility for building CPG, financial and agency relationships to drive top-line growth. You will directly manage a small team and own the revenue across Platform, Q-Commerce and partner-funded campaigns.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and grow the Retail Media & Partnerships team in Bangladesh, overseeing commercial strategy, sales and execution.
• Drive B2B revenue growth by building and closing deals with FMCGs, financial institutions and media agencies.
• Own key agency relationships to unlock media budgets from CPG clients across multiple verticals.
• Act as commercial lead for local partner-funded deals, campaign sponsorships and advertising inventory sales.
• Collaborate with Category Management, Q-Commerce, Ad Ops and Marketing teams.
• Use performance data to optimise campaigns and strengthen partner value.
• Act as country-level owner of Retail Media strategy, working closely with the Bangladesh MD and Director, Q-Commerce.
• Create a clear partnership vision and strategy aligned with business goals.

Required profile

• 10+ years of experience in an advertisement agency, brand or retailer side on an eCommerce-related role, ideally within FMCG.
• Proven track record of managing and negotiating high-value partnerships with CPGs, media agencies or retailers.
• Team leadership experience in a fast-paced environment, with strong communication and presentation skills and fluency in English.
• Analytical, data-driven mindset and fluent Bengali.

Required skills

• Understanding of AdTech, programmatic advertising or PPC, able to use these tools for business growth.
• Ability to turn complex data into actionable insights and strategies.
