Area Sales Manager - Specimen Management

About the role

Becton, Dickinson and Company (BD), a global medical technology company, is hiring an Area Sales Manager for its Specimen Management portfolio in Dhaka, Bangladesh. The role focuses on growing sales and business for the portfolio while managing key accounts such as hospitals, diagnostic laboratories, blood banks and channel partners.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve sales targets and business growth for the Specimen Management portfolio.
• Develop and manage key accounts, including hospitals, diagnostic laboratories, blood banks and channel partners.
• Identify new business opportunities and expand market presence.
• Conduct product demonstrations, technical presentations and customer training.
• Collaborate with marketing, application and service teams to ensure a superior customer experience.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity and customer needs to shape sales strategies.
• Maintain accurate sales forecasts, CRM updates and business reports.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards and regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Biomedical Engineering, Business Administration or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Specimen Management, Medical Devices, Diagnostics or Healthcare Sales, with a proven track record of meeting sales targets and managing key accounts.
