Production-HTL Manager

About the role

Avery Dennison is looking for a Manager, Production-HTL in Dhaka. The role oversees and optimizes daily manufacturing operations so that customer orders are delivered within required lead times. It covers operational output, machine and labor utilization, process improvements, sample development, quality standards and continuous safety compliance across production departments.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate with supervisors and planners to deliver customer orders and priority shipments on time.
• Execute capex planning aligned with operational forecasts and manage cost evaluations in Oracle.
• Enforce quality systems, run root cause analyses and implement corrective actions.
• Optimize machine and personnel utilization with planners and supervisors to maximize output, UEE and UPLH.
• Support sampling lead times, quality and new sample development with GPD.
• Evaluate best practices across sites, improve contribution margins and set SOPs.
• Teach Lean problem-solving to supervisors and operators.
• Drive cost savings and sustainable engineering projects to reduce scrap and raise productivity.
• Work with pre-press, supply chain, material planning and maintenance teams on TPM, automation, new machines and product deployment.
• Oversee health and safety, multi-skilling, discipline, housekeeping and cross-functional coverage.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial and Production Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering field.
• At least 8 years of experience in production and manufacturing operations.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and operational management.
• Proven ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced, target-oriented environment.

Required skills

• Lean manufacturing, Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) and root cause analysis.
• Familiarity with ERP systems (Oracle) and production planning tools.
• Leadership, decision-making and strong communication skills.
