Assistant Professor – Business & Marketing (Head of Department potential)

About the role

The successful candidate will join a fast‑growing international higher‑education college in Dhaka, delivering university‑level Business and Marketing teaching and contributing to programme development.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver lectures, seminars, workshops and tutorials to undergraduate and postgraduate students.
• Design, assess and moderate student work to partner‑university standards and support programme review.
• Engage in research, consultancy and build links with industry partners.
• Potentially assume Head of Department duties, leading departmental planning and growth.

Required profile

• PhD in Marketing, Business or a closely related discipline.
• 5–7 years of university‑level teaching experience post‑PhD (or equivalent combined experience).
• Strong communication and relationship‑building skills with students, colleagues and external stakeholders.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all learners.

Required skills

• Clear subject expertise across business and marketing disciplines.
• Experience of assessment design, formative feedback and international summative assessment standards.
• Experience of academic administration, committee work or programme leadership.
