About the role
The school is seeking an experienced Chemistry teacher for the Diploma Programme (DP) who will also deliver Science to Middle Years Programme (MYP) students. You will join a collaborative IB World School community in Dhaka, contributing to inquiry‑based learning and interdisciplinary projects.
Required profile
- Bachelor of Education or equivalent, or a degree in the subject area with a teaching licence (e.g., PGDE, PGCE)
- International passport holder
- Commitment to IB philosophy, values and pedagogy
- Strong unit‑planning and assessment design skills
- Ability to differentiate instruction for diverse learners
- Positive, respectful classroom culture
- Willingness to engage in ongoing professional growth
Required skills
- Experience planning authentic, collaborative units
- Skill in designing formative and summative assessments with rubrics
- Proficiency in electronic student information and reporting systems
- Ability to develop international‑mindedness and interdisciplinary thinking
What we offer
- Salary US$32,000‑US$54,600 per year, net of tax, scaled by experience
