Theatre Teacher (DP/MYP)

About the role

The school is seeking a qualified Theatre Teacher for its DP and MYP programmes. You will join a collaborative team in a well‑established IB World School, contributing to a vibrant performing arts environment.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging theatre curriculum for DP and MYP students, aligning with IB philosophy.
• Collaborate with colleagues and curriculum leaders to integrate interdisciplinary learning.
• Assess student work using formative and summative methods, providing timely feedback.
• Maintain accurate electronic records and contribute to the school’s student information system.

Required profile

• Bachelor of Education or equivalent, or a degree in the subject area with a teaching licence (e.g., PGDE, PGCE).
• International passport holder.
• Commitment to IB values, inquiry‑based learning and the learner profile.
• Ability to create an inclusive, respectful classroom culture.

Required skills

• Strong unit planning and curriculum design skills.
• Experience differentiating instruction for diverse learners.
• Confidence designing valid assessments and using rubrics.
