About the role

Join Surbana Jurong’s multidisciplinary team in Dhaka to drive financial success for building projects across architectural, civil, and MEP domains. As a Quantity Surveyor you will manage project costs from early estimates through final accounting, ensuring seamless delivery and client satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Review contractual documents, BOQs, specifications, drawings and tender schedules to understand scope and cost implications.
• Establish and maintain cost baselines by validating quantities, rates and contract values at project start.
• Perform detailed quantity take‑offs from construction drawings and reconcile them with tender BOQ quantities.
• Prepare and verify measurement sheets for civil, structural, MEP, architectural and external works.
• Certify Interim Payment Certificates, evaluate contractor claims, variation orders and additional works in line with contract terms.
• Track project expenditures against approved budgets and cash‑flow plans.

Required profile

• BSc in Quantity Surveying, Construction Economics or Civil Engineering from a recognised university.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in quantity surveying, cost control and contract administration within construction, consultancy or PMC environments.
• Proven track record managing commercial aspects of building construction projects.

Required skills

• Strong experience with Bill of Quantities (BOQ) preparation and analysis.
• Competence in tender evaluation, rate analysis and cost reporting.
