Supervision Engineer

About the role

The Supervision Engineer will support the Resident Supervision Engineers and the engineering team in day‑to‑day supervision of road safety and highway civil works. You will ensure that all works comply with approved drawings, specifications and contract requirements through inspections, measurements, documentation and coordination with contractors.

Key responsibilities

• Support daily supervision of civil works activities, verifying compliance with drawings, specifications and method statements under guidance of the Resident Engineer.
• Assist in quality control and testing oversight, measurement of works, and preparation/maintenance of site documentation and records.
• Support implementation of traffic management and work‑zone safety arrangements and promptly report non‑conformities, incidents and issues to the supervision management team.

Required profile

• Graduation in Civil Engineering.
• Overall professional experience of 10 years, including 7 years of supervision of highway construction.
• Experience in development‑partner‑financed projects such as World Bank, ADB or JICA.
