R&D Pilot Manager

About the role

The R&D Pilot Manager will be based in the R&D Centre of KSI Garments in Karnaphuli. This full‑time, office‑based position is responsible for overseeing pilot projects that test new textile manufacturing processes. The role reports to the R&D Centre Director and works closely with product development and production engineering teams.

Key responsibilities

• Lead pilot projects within the R&D centre, focusing on textile manufacturing.
• Plan and schedule pilot runs for weaving, knitting, and nonwoven/fibre processing.
• Monitor technical performance and quality of pilot batches.
• Prepare reports and recommendations for scale‑up.
• Ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards.
• Manage pilot resources and material inventory.

Required profile

• Bachelor of Science in Textile Engineering or Textile Technology.
• 8‑10 years of experience in textile manufacturing, with hands‑on work in weaving, knitting, or nonwoven/fibre processing.
