SBCC Associate-II

About the role

The SBCC Associate-II will support the implementation, monitoring, documentation, and coordination of Social and Behavior Change (SBC) interventions under the project, focusing on SRHR services and climate‑resilient practices.

Key responsibilities

• Support implementation of SBC and community engagement activities related to family planning, menstrual regulation, post‑abortion care and other SRHR services.
• Assist implementing partners with organizing SBC activities, adapting audience‑appropriate approaches, and integrating gender, rights and client‑centered principles.
• Support recruitment, training and mentoring of Community Action Group members, peer leaders and volunteers.
• Facilitate pharmacy‑based SBCC interventions, capacity‑building for pharmacy owners and drug sellers, and maintain monitoring mechanisms.
• Support stigma‑reduction and Values Clarification activities, documenting changes in attitudes and practices.
• Develop, adapt and disseminate SBCC materials, digital content and manage social media platforms.
• Conduct field monitoring, collect and analyse implementation data, and prepare regular reports.
• Coordinate with partners, government authorities and technical teams to ensure timely implementation of activities.

Required profile

• Experience supporting SBC, community engagement or health communication interventions.
• Ability to work with diverse community actors, including volunteers, pharmacists and health providers.
• Strong documentation, monitoring and reporting skills.

Required skills

• Knowledge of SRHR services and gender‑sensitive communication.
• Familiarity with digital and social media content creation.
