Technical Officer - CCA/DRR

About the role

Technical Officer – CCA/DRR will support the Resource Development Foundation’s climate change adaptation and disaster risk reduction initiatives in Barguna Sadar. The role involves applying scientific knowledge to develop and implement projects that enhance community resilience.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in planning, monitoring and evaluating CCA/DRR programmes.
• Collect, analyse and report environmental and agricultural data relevant to climate and disaster risks.
• Coordinate with local authorities, NGOs and community groups to ensure effective project delivery.
• Prepare technical documents, manuals and training materials.
• Support capacity‑building activities for stakeholders.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Environmental Science, Geography, Agriculture, Disaster Management, Climate Change, Natural Resource Management or a related social/development discipline.
• 3–5 years of relevant professional experience.
• Strong understanding of climate change adaptation and disaster risk reduction concepts.
