Technical Officer (Climate Resilient Livelihood)

About the role

The Technical Officer (Climate Resilient Livelihood) will support the Resource Development Foundation’s efforts to build climate‑resilient livelihoods in Barguna Sadar. The role focuses on integrating agricultural practices, development studies, and disaster management to improve community resilience.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement livelihood projects that address climate risks.
• Conduct field assessments and data collection on agricultural and socio‑economic conditions.
• Collaborate with local partners, NGOs, and government agencies to align interventions with national climate strategies.
• Monitor project performance, prepare reports, and recommend adjustments based on findings.
• Provide technical guidance and capacity‑building workshops for beneficiaries.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of relevant experience in agriculture, development, or disaster management.
• Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Development Studies, Social Science, Business Administration, Disaster Management, or a related field; a Master’s degree is preferred.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
