Construction Manager

About the role

Fortress Developments Ltd is seeking an experienced Construction Manager to lead large‑scale projects in Dhaka. The role involves overseeing all phases of construction, ensuring quality, safety, and timely delivery while coordinating with internal teams and external partners.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, schedule, and supervise construction activities from inception to completion.
• Manage budgets, resources, and subcontractors to meet project targets.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations, engineering standards, and company policies.
• Monitor progress, resolve technical issues, and report status to senior management.
• Lead and mentor site engineers and construction staff.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (required); Master’s degree is a plus.
• Membership of the Institution of Engineers, Bangladesh (IEB) preferred.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in construction management.
• Additional qualifications in Project Management or Construction Management are advantageous.

Required skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD for design review.
• Strong knowledge of MS Project and Primavera for scheduling.
• Advanced use of MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint for reporting and documentation.
