Regional Manager - Surgical and Neuroscience

About the role

Medtronic's Surgical and Neuroscience portfolio covers technologies for minimally invasive and open surgical procedures (stapling, energy, visualization, airway management) and neuromodulation, cranial and spinal procedures, and neurovascular care. This Regional Manager role leads commercial activities and customer engagement across Bangladesh, is based in Dhaka, works remotely, and involves domestic travel including about 3 to 4 overnight trips per quarter.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop a team of nine sales professionals to achieve regional revenue, market share and business objectives.
• Execute territory-wide sales strategies aligned with business priorities and portfolio growth goals.
• Build and maintain relationships with key healthcare stakeholders, decision-makers and strategic accounts.
• Identify new business opportunities and run programmes supporting customer adoption and portfolio expansion.
• Monitor sales performance and market trends, and develop action plans to close gaps and accelerate growth.
• Partner with marketing, clinical and operational teams, and conduct competitive analysis.
• Coach the team on product knowledge, sales execution, customer engagement and territory management.

Required profile

• High school diploma (or equivalent) and 9+ years of experience, OR an Associate's degree and 7+ years, OR a Bachelor's degree and 5+ years.
• Minimum 3 years of people management experience, including coaching, performance management and field sales team development.
• Preferred: experience leading sales teams in surgical, neuroscience, medical device or healthcare technology markets; track record of hitting regional sales targets; experience managing large health system or hospital accounts; knowledge of capital equipment, procedural products or advanced therapeutic technologies.
