Team Leader – Railway Feasibility & Design

About the role

We are seeking a Team Leader to head a multidisciplinary team responsible for feasibility studies, detailed design, and tendering services for infrastructure projects.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the team in reviewing project requirements, study findings, site information, technical data and relevant documents for feasibility studies and design activities.
• Oversee preparation and coordination of detailed design inputs, reports, drawings, specifications, BOQ, cost estimates and other technical documents.
• Support tendering services by preparing, reviewing and compiling tender documents, technical schedules, evaluation inputs and related submissions.
• Assist in project planning, execution, monitoring, resource utilization, risk tracking, quality control, and time and cost management.
• Facilitate coordination and communication among project experts, sub‑consultants, the employer, government agencies and donor agencies.

Required profile

• Graduation in Civil Engineering or a related discipline from a recognized institution.
• Approximately 20 years of professional experience, including at least 12 years in the railway sector.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in feasibility study and design consultancy, with about 5 years in a Project Manager or Team Leader role.
• Experience with FIDIC contracts and projects in the SAARC region is preferred.
