Union Supervisor

About the role

The Union Supervisor will act as the primary liaison between the organization and its union members, ensuring smooth collaboration and compliance with relevant regulations. This contract position is based in Barguna Sadar and offers a monthly salary of Tk. 40,000.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and communicate with union representatives on behalf of the organization.
• Monitor and ensure compliance with labor laws, collective bargaining agreements, and internal policies.
• Facilitate dispute resolution and grievance handling between staff and union bodies.
• Organize training sessions and workshops on union rights and responsibilities.
• Prepare regular reports on union activities, negotiations, and outcomes.
• Support the development of strategies to improve labor relations and workplace harmony.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Development Studies, Social Science, Business Administration, Disaster Management, or a related discipline.
• Preferred: Master’s degree in a relevant field.
• Strong communication, analytical, and organizational abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in a rural development environment.
