Mid-Level Structural Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Mid‑Level Structural Engineer to join our multidisciplinary team in Dhaka. You will contribute to large‑scale infrastructure projects, designing and delivering underground structures that shape the built environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop structural designs for shafts, tunnels, cut‑and‑cover sections and other underground elements.
• Perform structural analysis and design of reinforced concrete and steel components in accordance with Eurocodes and project specifications.
• Prepare design calculations, technical reports, specifications and construction drawings.
• Design permanent and temporary underground support systems, including excavation support and retaining structures.
• Carry out numerical analyses for ground‑structure interaction, settlement, deformation and stability.
• Review and check BIM models and engineering drawings for accuracy.
• Evaluate structural behavior under static, seismic, earth pressure, groundwater and construction loads.

Required profile

• Minimum 6 years of professional experience in underground structural engineering.
• Strong knowledge of structural analysis, reinforced concrete design and relevant design codes.
• Proficiency in finite‑element tools such as PLAXIS, Staad Pro or Adsec.
• Experience with shafts, cut‑and‑cover structures, TBM tunnels and cross‑passages.
• Understanding of local market requirements and relevant legislation.
• Excellent communication skills.
